The invention discloses a road bridge traffic height limiting device based on a municipal building, a height limiting mechanism comprises a height limiting adjusting assembly, a label replacing assembly, a traffic limiting assembly and a label adjusting assembly, and a cross beam is provided with the height limiting adjusting assembly capable of adjusting the height of the limited height. The height limiting adjusting assembly is provided with a label replacing assembly for replacing a label along with the change of the height of the height limiting adjusting assembly, and the height limiting adjusting assembly is further provided with a label adjusting assembly for conducting transmission adjustment on the label replacing assembly. The road bridge traffic height limiting device overcomes the defects that although some existing road bridge traffic height limiting devices based on municipal buildings are used for adjusting the height limiting height, a height limiting signboard is difficult to replace along with the change of the height, workers often need to be lifted to the corresponding coverage degree by means of a lifting machine for replacement, and the working efficiency is high. Moreover, when one signboard is replaced, the lifting machine needs to be moved to a corresponding place, so that the cost output is greatly improved.
