The invention discloses an automatic collecting device for floating objects in water, which comprises a main body, a collector and a power transmission system, and the collector is rotatably mounted at the upper end of the main body; the power transmission system comprises an anchor body, a roller assembly and a transmission assembly, the roller assembly comprises a roller rotationally installed on the lower side of the main body, a self-telescopic piece installed on the lower side of the main body, a first rope body connected with the self-telescopic piece and a second rope body connected with the anchor body, and one end of the first rope body and one end of the second rope body are connected with the roller; the transmission assembly comprises a transmission disc, a first transmission rod and a plurality of second transmission rods, the first transmission rod can be installed on the main body in an up-down moving mode, the upper end of the first transmission rod is installed on the transmission disc, the first transmission rod is in transmission connection with the rolling wheel, the lower end of each second transmission rod is connected with the transmission disc, and the upper end of each second transmission rod is connected with the collector. Circulating flow of the water level is used as a power source, automatic collection of garbage on the water surface is achieved, extra power supply is not needed, and manual fishing is not needed.
