The invention relates to the technical field of building core construction, in particular to a construction method for improving core backfilling quality. The method comprises the following construction steps: calculating the backfilling amount required by a room core; calculating the usage amount of the required expansion material; paying off to plan a backfill material area and an expansion material area; backfilling is conducted; integrally tamping and flattening; floor slab construction; and waiting for the expansion material to expand. By means of the expansion effect of the expansion material, the compactness of the backfill material is improved, the requirement for tamping is lowered, sedimentation and cavities are reduced, then floor collapse and cracks, caused by ground subsidence, of the wall of a house are reduced, the expansion material is evenly expanded during expansion by reasonably planning the backfill material area and the expansion material area, and the expansion effect of the backfill material is improved. The floor slab concrete is firstly paved, and then the expansion exciting agent is injected, so that the expansion time of the expansion material is effectively controlled, and the compactness and the loading capacity of the backfill material are further improved.
