The invention relates to construction of an open caisson steel reinforcement framework, in particular to a modularized open caisson steel reinforcement framework which comprises a plurality of prefabricated modules arranged regularly, and each prefabricated module comprises a stiff framework, transverse steel bars, longitudinal steel bars and stirrups. And a plurality of horizontal steel bars and longitudinal steel bars which are arranged in a flush manner are supported on the stiff framework. The transverse steel bars are in full-section connection through the transverse connectors, the longitudinal steel bars are in full-section connection through the longitudinal connectors, and the vertically adjacent stiff frameworks are in rigid connection. And the transverse joint and the longitudinal joint are primary joints. The invention further particularly relates to a construction method of the open caisson comprising the modularized open caisson steel reinforcement framework. The construction method comprises the steps that the prefabricated modules are prepared; arranging and connecting the prefabricated modules to form a bottom layer open caisson section; another open caisson section is built above the bottom-layer open caisson section and is connected with the bottom-layer open caisson section; and repeating for a plurality of times and then pouring concrete to form a multi-layer open caisson. The structure and the lap joint method are beneficial to improving the construction efficiency of the open caisson and improving the standardization of the open caisson steel reinforcement framework structure.
