The architectural engineering decorative pavement slab is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 800 to 1000 parts of coarse aggregate, 500 to 700 parts of fine aggregate, 250 to 350 parts of cement, 150 to 200 parts of water and 5.5 to 7.5 parts of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent, the coarse aggregate comprises modified coarse aggregate and pebbles, the weight ratio of the modified coarse aggregate to the pebbles is 1: 1, and the modified coarse aggregate is prepared from modified coal-fired slag and modified ceramsite; the preparation method comprises the following steps: stirring and mixing the coarse aggregate, the fine aggregate and the cement, adding the water and the polycarboxylate superplasticizer, and stirring and mixing to obtain the concrete. The architectural engineering decorative pavement slab can be used for road reconstruction, and has the advantage of reducing the influence of excessive water absorption of the coal-fired slag on the concrete strength.
