The portable awning tent comprises an awning curtain, the awning curtain comprises a main cloth body and side cloth bodies, the side cloth bodies which are integrally connected are arranged on the front side and the rear side of the main cloth body respectively, a plurality of hanging lugs are arranged on the side, away from the main cloth body, of each side cloth body, and a plurality of connecting sleeves are arranged at the bottom of the awning curtain; the top of the first vertical telescopic rod and the top of the second vertical telescopic rod are each provided with a fixedly-connected connecting rod, the two ends of the first transverse connecting rod and the two ends of the second transverse telescopic rod are each provided with a fixedly-connected connecting piece, and the first transverse connecting rod and the second transverse telescopic rod penetrate through the corresponding connecting sleeves correspondingly. The first vertical telescopic rod and the first transverse connecting rod form a connecting structure, and the second vertical telescopic rod and the second transverse telescopic rod form a connecting structure. The sky curtain, the first vertical telescopic rod and the second vertical telescopic rod form a connecting structure through the hanging lugs and the connecting rods.
