The invention discloses a construction method of a glass fiber reinforced plastic desulfurizing tower, which comprises the following steps of: manufacturing and mounting a water tank part of a bottom desulfurizing tower, manufacturing and mounting a flue gas inlet part of the desulfurizing tower, manufacturing and mounting a desulfurization absorption part of a middle section of the desulfurizing tower, and manufacturing and mounting a wet electric dust removal section of the desulfurizing tower. And finally, manufacturing and mounting a top chimney section, and splicing on site section by section from bottom to top by adopting a normal mounting method to complete manufacturing and mounting of the glass fiber reinforced plastic desulfurizing tower. The problem that the construction operation space is limited is solved, the construction cost is reduced, and the defect that the service life of the desulfurization tower is affected due to different shrinkage ratios of different materials in a conventional construction method is overcome.
