A municipal engineering road drainage filtering system comprises a water leakage vertical shaft, a drainage channel and a slag collecting well, the top end of the water leakage vertical shaft communicates with a road surface, the bottom end of the water leakage vertical shaft communicates with the slag collecting well, and one end of the drainage channel is located on the inner side wall of the water leakage vertical shaft while the other end communicates with a municipal rainwater pipe; a filter screen fence and a water baffle which are parallel to each other as well as a driving mechanism for driving the filter screen fence and the water baffle to synchronously rotate are arranged in the water leakage vertical shaft, and the filter screen fence is positioned above the water baffle; the filter screen fence is used for intercepting garbage when being in a horizontal state, and is used for turning the garbage when rotating; the horizontal water baffle is used for intercepting rainwater and draining water to the drainage channel, and the water baffle is used for sliding garbage when rotating. The driving mechanism drives the filter screen fence and the water baffle to synchronously rotate by 180 degrees and stop, garbage originally located on the upper surface of the filter screen fence is turned into the slag collecting well in the rotating process, at the moment, the lower surface of the filter screen fence faces upwards, water filtering work continues, and therefore the purpose of continuously filtering the garbage in rainwater is achieved.
