The invention provides a handle driving mechanism and cooking equipment, and relates to the technical field of kitchen appliances, the handle driving mechanism provided by the invention comprises a heat dissipation air duct, a door body, a handle and a power source, and the heat dissipation air duct passes through the interior of the door body and dissipates heat of the door body; and the handle is movably connected with the door body. The power source is connected with the door body and the handle and used for driving the handle to be switched between the exposed position and the hidden position. The power source is located in the heat dissipation air channel. When the door body is cooled through the cooling air channel, airflow flowing through the cooling air channel can pass through the power source, so that the power source is cooled at the same time, the temperature around the power source is reduced, and the service life of the power source is prolonged.
