The present invention relates to the technical field of building materials, and discloses a building wall sound insulation mortar production method, which uses cement, fly ash, quartz sand, core-shell hollow glass beads, modified fibers, dispersible latex powder, a polyacrylic acid water reducing agent, methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose ether and water as raw materials, and the raw materials are stirred and mixed to form the sound insulation mortar, by utilizing the sound absorption effect and filling effect of the shell-core hollow glass beads, the prepared mortar can have a good sound insulation effect, internal stress generated by drying shrinkage of the mortar is weakened, the modified fibers can form a compact net-shaped structure with basalt fibers as a core framework in the mortar, all the components in the mortar are bonded more tightly, and the sound insulation performance of the mortar is improved. The shrinkage rate of the mortar during forming is reduced, and the strength and the crack resistance of the mortar are further improved.
