The invention discloses a heat discoloration drainer and a manufacturing method thereof, the heat discoloration drainer comprises a drainer body made of metal or plastic, when the drainer body is made of metal, the surface of the drainer body is transfer-printed with an ink master batch containing heat discoloration powder to form a discoloration pattern; when the drainer body is made of plastic, heat discoloration powder is added in the injection molding process, and therefore the color of the drainer body changes when the drainer body reaches the preset temperature. According to the drainer with the thermochromic function, when the temperature changes, obvious color changes can be generated, visual changes are brought, and therefore a user can judge the water temperature conveniently.
