The invention discloses a building protection frame stair tread and a using method, a horizontal rear sliding groove is fixed to the rear portion of the tread, a horizontal front sliding groove is fixed to the front portion of the tread, the rear sliding groove is rotationally connected with a horizontal two-way lead screw, and the screwing directions of external threads of the left portion and the right portion of the two-way lead screw are opposite; the left portion and the right portion are in threaded connection with horizontal rear sliding blocks respectively, the two rear sliding blocks are in left-right sliding connection and rotating connection with the rear sliding grooves respectively, and rear supporting rods are fixed to the bottom ends of the two rear sliding blocks respectively. A steel pipe commonly used in a steel pipe frame is used for supporting, then the rear supporting cylinder can push the semi-locking plate to tightly hold the outer wall of the steel pipe through threaded connection of the main locking pipe and the rear supporting cylinder, and therefore the positions, relative to the steel pipe, of the main locking pipe and the rear supporting cylinder can be limited; and the rear sliding block is limited by the two-way lead screw, so that the rear supporting barrel can be prevented from moving along the steel pipe which is arranged at the included angle, and the position of the rear supporting barrel relative to the steel pipe can be limited.
