The present invention discloses a stepping chromium oxide grate cooler, and relates to the technical field of coolers, the stepping chromium oxide grate cooler comprises: a cooling box, the two ends of which are respectively provided with a feed inlet and a discharge outlet having a height difference, and the lower side of the cooling box is provided with an air chamber and a stepping driving assembly; the feeding cylinder is connected with the feeding hole of the cooling box; the conveying mechanism is located on the lower side of the discharging opening of the cooling box; and the grate bed assembly is obliquely installed in the cooling box and arranged between the feeding port and the discharging port of the cooling box, the grate bed assembly comprises a plurality of fixing plates, and the fixing plates are connected with the cooling box through a set of fixing rods. Clinkers are transported layer by layer through the stepping grate bed assembly, the thickness of the clinker is controlled at a preset height through the flattening assembly during transportation, chromic oxide materials are arranged on the outer sides of the fixed plates and the movable plates in the grate bed assembly, and when the fixed plates and the movable plates move repeatedly and make contact with the high-temperature clinker, the thickness of the clinker is controlled. And the stability and integrity of the whole structure can be kept.
