The invention relates to a method for producing a floor structure on a substrate, in which the leveling compound is applied to the substrate, followed by a sealing layer being applied to the dried leveling layer. Said leveling layer is based on a leveling composition comprising an aluminate binder, a calcium sulfate binder and a filler, the amount of the filler being 30 to 80% by weight and the total amount of the aluminate binder and the calcium sulfate binder being 20 to 70% by weight, the weight ratio of the aluminate binder to the calcium sulfate binder being 1: 1 to 1: 5. The method enables very short production times and improved adhesion between the leveling layer and the sealing layer.
