The invention provides a ferrite material, a preparation method of a ferrite layer and a common mode inductor device, the ferrite material comprises a main component and a dopant, the main component comprises the following components by mole percent: 65.5 mol%-68.5 mol% of Fe2O3, 13.55 mol%-17.5 mol% of ZnO, 4.5 mol%-6.9 mol% of CuO, and the balance of NiO; the doping agent comprises at least one of Co2O3, MoO3, V2O5, Sb2O3, Al2O3, SiO2, P2O5 and SnO2, so that the shrinkage rate difference between the ferrite layer and the ceramic layer is reduced.
