The cleaning unit comprises a rotating disc, a positioning disc and a cleaning assembly, the rotating disc is located below the supporting plate, a plurality of brushes are connected to the lower portion of the rotating disc, the positioning disc is installed below the rotating disc, and the cleaning assembly is located between every two adjacent brushes; according to the road cleaning device, the rotating disc drives the brushes to rotate to clean a road under the action of the driver, meanwhile, the cleaning assembly rotates along with the rotating disc, and when entanglements are wound on the brushes, the cleaning brushes on the fixing rods enable the fixing rods to swing between the two adjacent brushes through the directional sliding ways, so that the entanglements on the brushes are cleaned away, and the road cleaning effect is improved. And the cleaning effect of the brush is prevented from being influenced by entanglements on the brush.
