The invention relates to a self-floating type bridge pier anti-collision device, and belongs to the technical field of bridge pier protection, the self-floating type bridge pier anti-collision device comprises a protection assembly arranged outside a bridge pier and a rotating assembly, the protection assembly comprises a sleeve plate, a supporting plate and a protection air cushion, the sleeve plate and the supporting plate are arranged outside the bridge pier in a sleeving mode, and the supporting plate is connected to the side, close to the water surface, of the sleeve plate; the sleeve plate moves in the height direction of the pier, the protective air cushion is arranged on the supporting plate and sleeves the sleeve plate, and the rotating assembly is used for driving the sleeve plate to rotate relative to the pier. When a ship collides with the pier, the ship is in direct collision contact with the protective air cushion, the protective air cushion counteracts and absorbs kinetic energy generated by collision of the ship, and meanwhile, the rotating assembly drives the sleeve plate to carry the protective air cushion to rotate relative to the pier, so that the ship is driven to steer, the collision direction of the ship is changed, and damage of the ship to the pier is reduced; and the protection capability on the pier is improved.
