The mortise and tenon joint of the steel pipe beams and the steel pipe corner column comprises the steel pipe corner column, a first steel pipe beam, a second steel pipe beam, a first channel steel mortise and tenon connecting piece and a second channel steel mortise and tenon connecting piece. One end of the first steel pipe beam penetrates through the interior of the steel pipe corner column through the hole in the rear side face of the steel pipe corner column to the hole in the front side face of the steel pipe corner column, and the end of the first steel pipe beam is aligned with the front side face of the steel pipe corner column; the first channel steel tenon-and-mortise connecting piece and the second channel steel tenon-and-mortise connecting piece respectively penetrate through the U-shaped notch of the steel pipe corner post and the U-shaped notch of the first steel pipe beam, the right ends extend out of the right side surface of the steel pipe corner post, and the left ends are aligned with the left side surface of the steel pipe corner post; the second steel pipe beam is sleeved on the first channel steel mortise and tenon connecting piece and the second channel steel mortise and tenon connecting piece, and the left end of the second steel pipe beam is welded with the steel pipe corner post, the first channel steel mortise and tenon connecting piece and the second channel steel mortise and tenon connecting piece. The invention has the advantages of high bearing capacity, strong shock resistance, capability of saving a large number of gusset plates, stiffening rib plates, reinforcing ring plates and clapboards, and the like.
