The present invention provides a technique capable of opening a door by using an appliance having a sufficiently small size with respect to a door main body without performing an operation of holding and pressing a lever handle. A lever handle operation tool (10) attached to a side hung door provided with a lever handle, the lever handle operation tool (10) being provided with: a fixing member (20) having an installation part (21) fixed near the lever handle of the door; and a movable member (30) which has a contact portion (31) capable of coming into contact with the gripping portion of the lever handle and which is movable relative to the fixed member (20), the fixed member (20) having a guide portion (23) that enables the movable member (30) to move toward the setting portion (21), the contact portion (31) having a pressing surface (32), and the pressing surface (32) pressing the movable member (30) toward the setting portion (21) when the movable member (30) is moved toward the setting portion (21). The pressing surface slides relative to the holding part and presses down the holding part.
