The preparation method comprises the following steps: grinding a calcium raw material, a siliceous raw material and a mineral coloring agent in a ball mill to obtain a uniformly mixed raw material; mixing the raw material with water, pressing into a green body, sintering and cooling to obtain the colored low-calcium carbon sequestration cementing material, wherein the molar ratio of calcium to silicon of the calcium raw material to the siliceous raw material is 1.0-1.9; the sintering temperature ranges from 1150 DEG C to 1400 DEG C. The color of the colored low-calcium carbon-sequestration cementing material prepared by the preparation method is stable and not easy to change or fall off under the action of high temperature, and the colored low-calcium carbon-sequestration cementing material has very important practical significance for expanding the application scene of the low-calcium carbon-sequestration cementing material. In addition, it is accidentally found that part of coloring ions can enter calcium silicate ore phase crystal lattices, the activation effect on the calcium silicate ore phase is achieved, and the reaction activity of the calcium silicate ore phase can be improved.
