A method for erecting a rotary cable is characterized by comprising the steps that S2, the head end and the tail end of the same cable are pulled from one end of a suspension bridge to the other end of the suspension bridge at the same time for cable releasing; and S3, after cable releasing is completed, anchoring work of the cable is conducted. On one hand, the cable releasing efficiency of the technical scheme is far higher than that of a traditional technical means; and on the other hand, the high-difficulty operation that in a traditional technical means, steering of the cable can be completed only by rotating a cable saddle is avoided, the construction difficulty is greatly reduced, and excellent operation convenience is achieved.
