The invention relates to a device (5) for treating wastewater from a toilet bowl (3), comprising a solid/liquid separation filter (25) and a liquid recirculation circuit (27) for conveying liquid from said filter to a tank (11). The device (5) is characterized in that the filter (25) has an inlet intended to be connected to the tub seat, a solid/liquid separation module, a first outlet connected to the drain pipe (30) and a second outlet connected to the recirculation circuit, said filter (25) delivering solid matter to said first outlet and liquid matter to said second outlet, the device is also characterized in that the recirculation loop comprises a filter assembly designed to make the liquid reusable. The invention also relates to a sanitary unit (1) comprising such a device.
