The invention provides a high-entropy rare earth monosilicate environmental barrier coating, the component of the coating is (Lu0. 25RE10. 25RE20. 25RE30. 25) 2SiO5, RE is any three rare earth elements of Y, Gd, Ho, Er, Tm or Yb, and the coating has high-temperature CMAS corrosion resistance. The invention also provides a preparation method of the high-entropy rare earth monosilicate environmental barrier coating. The invention also provides an application of the high-entropy rare earth monosilicate environmental barrier coating on an aero-engine. According to the designed high-entropy rare earth silicate coating, the reaction process of a material under high-temperature CMAS corrosion is adjusted, the reaction degree of the material and CMAS at the high temperature is reduced, and compared with an RE2SiO5 coating with a single rare earth component, the high-entropy rare earth silicate coating has better high-temperature CMAS corrosion resistance. The preparation method of the coating is a plasma spraying method, and has the advantages of being high in deposition speed, low in cost, good in repeatability, large in adjustable range of the spraying thickness of the coating, high in production efficiency, suitable for large-scale production and the like.
