The invention discloses an artificial quartz stone plate and a preparation method thereof. The artificial quartz stone plate comprises the following components: 10-25 parts of unsaturated polyester resin; 70 to 80 parts of quartz sand; 0.2 to 0.4 part of a coupling agent; 0.1 to 0.15 part of a curing agent; 0.5 to 0.9 part of an accelerant; 0.5 to 2 parts of pigment; and 3-10 parts of a composite antibacterial agent. The composite antibacterial agent is an organic antibacterial agent, has excellent compatibility with a resin matrix material, and can improve the mechanical properties of the quartz stone material, and on the other hand, the curing agent is added in batches, so that the resin matrix and suspension double bonds in the composite antibacterial agent can be fully contacted and reacted, and the mechanical properties of the quartz stone material are improved. The molecular stability of the resin matrix and the composite antibacterial agent is further improved, so that the quartz stone has long-acting antibacterial ability, and meanwhile, the mechanical property of the quartz stone is also improved.
