According to the invention, the SiO2 aerogel and the foaming agent H2O2 are added into the cementing material of the G50 insulation board, and the use amounts of the cement, the silicon powder, the water reducing agent and the water are adjusted at the same time, so that the components, the ratio and the structure of the cement-based cementing material are changed, and the thermal insulation performance of the insulation board is improved; the thermal insulation and fireproof performance of the external wall thermal insulation board are obviously better than those of a G50 thermal insulation board, and the external wall thermal insulation effect can be remarkably improved when the external wall thermal insulation board is used in building external wall thermal insulation engineering.
