The present invention relates to an improved mineral binder composition comprising:-a mineral binder comprising at least 30 wt% of slag, based on the weight of the mineral binder,-an activator for the hydration of slag, comprising or consisting of calcium hydroxide, and-a co-activator, the invention relates to a lithium ion battery comprising at least one salt selected from lithium carbonate, lithium sulfate and sodium carbonate or consisting of at least one salt selected from lithium carbonate, lithium sulfate and sodium carbonate. The improved mineral binder composition exhibits reduced cure time and increased early strength.
