The invention relates to the technical field of power transmission line maintenance, and particularly discloses a power transmission line iron tower drainage system which comprises an iron tower foundation, a stone sand layer, a siphon rainwater hopper, a water pipe and a water storage module. The iron tower foundation is arranged on the stone sand layer; the stone sand layer is provided with a rainwater groove; the siphon rainwater hopper is arranged in the rainwater groove; the water storage module is arranged below the stone sand layer; and the water pipe is connected with the siphon roof drain and the water storage module. According to the scheme, the siphon roof drain is applied to an iron tower drainage system, water-gas separation can be achieved, water pipe blocking is avoided, and therefore drainage stability is improved; meanwhile, rainwater can be stored through the water storage module, stable and continuous operation of the drainage system is guaranteed, and the problem that an existing iron tower drainage system is poor in stability is solved.
