The invention relates to the technical field of building curtain walls, and discloses an energy-saving type solar photovoltaic building curtain wall which comprises a curtain wall plate, a light energy conversion mechanism is installed on one side of the curtain wall plate, an installation connecting mechanism is installed in the curtain wall plate and comprises a driving gear, and the driving gear is rotationally connected to the interior of the curtain wall plate; four driven gears are rotationally connected into the curtain wall plates, racks used for being connected with the adjacent curtain wall plates in an inserted mode are connected to the outer sides of the driven gears in a meshed mode, and the installation connecting mechanisms are designed through the driving gears, the driven gears, the racks and the like, so that the curtain wall plates can be flexibly connected and detached, and a plurality of curtain wall units can be connected with one another to achieve integration. The photovoltaic cell panel is convenient to maintain, replace and upgrade in the future, the maintainability and sustainability of the curtain wall are improved, the curtain wall units can be effectively prevented from being aged, damaged and falling due to integration of the curtain wall, and the safety, stability and durability of the curtain wall are ensured.
