The invention relates to nano ceramic fiber paste and a preparation method thereof, the nano ceramic fiber paste comprises powder and slurry, and the mass ratio of the powder to the slurry is (4-5): (1-5); the powder material comprises the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 5%-12% of gas-phase nano silicon dioxide, 6%-15% of ultramicro titanium dioxide, 25%-40% of a binder and 3%-10% of activated aluminum oxide micro powder; the slurry is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 2 to 6 percent of viscosity modifier, 10 to 20 percent of high-temperature-resistant fiber, 2 to 5 percent of composite binding agent and 1 to 5 percent of solvent. According to the present invention, based on the intermiscibility of the activated alumina micro-powder and the inorganic powder, and the addition of the liquid polyacrylamide, the problems of easy shedding, short storage time and hardening of the refractory material are effectively solved;
