According to the widening structure and the construction method thereof, the stability of each height ladder layer and the overall stability of a narrow widening body with the width smaller than 2 m can be achieved, the problems that compaction is difficult, construction is high in risk, and the minimum filling width needs to be met in traditional filling construction are solved, and the widening structure and the construction method thereof have the beneficial effects of being easy to construct, economical, environmentally friendly and the like; and popularization and application of the structure and the construction method are facilitated.
