The invention relates to a steel pipe quick connecting device and a construction method thereof.The device comprises a connecting piece, two steel pipes needing to be in butt joint are inserted into the left portion and the right portion of the connecting piece respectively, the connecting piece is a circular sleeve, an installation block is arranged on the outer wall of the connecting piece, a rectangular notch is formed in the installation block, and a reset mechanism is installed in the rectangular notch; the lower end of the resetting mechanism extends into the inner cavity of the connecting piece and is connected with the steel pipe, so that the end part of the steel pipe is locked in the connecting piece; according to the construction method, the steel pipe can be clamped and fixed by inserting the steel pipe into the two ends of the connecting piece respectively during connection, the steel pipe can be directly taken out by lifting a T-shaped rod of the resetting mechanism during disassembly, the mounting block is used for integrally assembling the resetting mechanism, the resetting mechanism and the connecting piece are combined into an integrated structure, parts do not need to be disassembled during use, and the parts are prevented from being lost; and the reset mechanism can automatically lock the steel pipe, operation is convenient, and operation is convenient when the steel pipe is disassembled.
