The smoke blocking device is composed of a shell, a shaking device, a plate body, a polystyrene foam bottle, a nitrogen bottle, a pipeline, a communication head and a metal pipe, polystyrene foam is injected between the fireproof door frame and the fireproof door body, the polystyrene foam in the polystyrene foam bottle is injected between the fireproof door frame and the fireproof door body through the metal pipe, and the polystyrene foam expands when encountering air; and the space between the fireproof door body and the fireproof door frame is filled for sealing, so that smoke of a fire is prevented from spreading upwards through a staircase.
