The invention discloses a fiber cement board with high fixed carbon content and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing fibers, a gelling component, a filler and water to obtain slurry; the slurry is subjected to vacuum dehydration forming, and a plate blank is obtained; pre-curing the plate blank under the condition that the CO2 concentration is 20-30% VOL, and then carrying out carbonization curing under the condition that the CO2 concentration is 60-80% VOL, so as to obtain the fiber cement plate with high fixed carbon content. According to the method, low-concentration CO2 is adopted for pre-curing, a drying box is not used for drying treatment or static curing, the low-concentration CO2 can enable the fiber cement board to be subjected to a preliminary carbonization reaction, heat release is generated, a small amount of water is removed, and the fiber cement board can open a carbonization channel easily. And then high-concentration CO2 carbonization maintenance is carried out, CO2 can enter the board easily, and the carbonization degree and the carbon sequestration amount are increased.
