Porous composite
A porous composite is provided with a porous base material and a porous collection layer (3) provided on a collection surface of the base material. The collection layer (3) contains particles deposited in pores in the collection surface. In a plan view of the collection surface, the proportion of the area of a covered region covered by the collection layer (3) in the collection surface is 70% or less, and the proportion of the area of a pore region (26) in a non-covered region not covered by the collection layer (3) is 15% or less. Accordingly, low pressure loss and high collection efficiency can be achieved.
多孔质复合体具备:多孔质的基材、以及在基材的捕集面所设置的多孔质的捕集层(3)。捕集层(3)包含堆积在捕集面的气孔内的粒子。俯视捕集面的情况下,捕集面中的由捕集层(3)被覆的被覆区域的面积的比例为70%以下,未由捕集层(3)被覆的非被覆区域中的气孔区域(26)的面积的比例为15%以下。据此,能够实现低压力损失及高捕集效率。
