The invention discloses a creeping formwork system suitable for a variable cross section. Each creeping formwork unit comprises a platform transversely distributed on each vertical face of the pouring body, a front-back sliding device arranged on the platform, a formwork unit arranged on the front-back sliding device and a climbing mechanism connected with the platform, the climbing mechanism can drive the platform to climb upwards, and each platform at least comprises a cross beam; the cross beams of every two adjacent creeping formwork units are connected with the sliding seats in a sliding mode, the front-back sliding devices can make the formwork units move relative to the platform in the front-back direction, and the connecting pieces are used for connecting every two adjacent formwork units so that the formwork units can be enclosed into a whole. The method is suitable for a variable-cross-section creeping formwork system and is high in wind load resistance and overturning resistance.
