The invention discloses a ball type automobile door and window switch, an automobile and a method thereof. The ball type automobile door and window switch comprises an outer shell, an inner shell, a ball and a position sensor. Microswitches are arranged at the two ends of the interior of the outer shell respectively, the inner shell is connected with the outer shell through an inner shell rotating shaft and can rotate around the axis of the inner shell rotating shaft, and then the microswitches can be triggered to lock or unlock the automobile door. The sphere is connected with the inner shell through the main rotating shaft and can rotate around the axis of the main rotating shaft; one end of the main rotating shaft is provided with a limiting shaft, and the limiting shaft is located in the outer shell and can move in the axial direction of the main rotating shaft so as to be connected with or disconnected from the main rotating shaft; and the position sensor is used for acquiring the rotation angle of the limiting shaft. The vehicle door opening and closing and the vehicle window lifting are integrated.
