The invention discloses a high-whiteness frit opaque glaze containing zirconium oxide or coexistence of zirconium oxide and zirconium silicate and a preparation method of the high-whiteness frit opaque glaze. The high-whiteness frit opaque glaze comprises the following raw materials: 2-11 wt% of clay, 10-30 wt% of potassium feldspar, 5-30 wt% of quartz, 1-5 wt% of zinc oxide, 1-5 wt% of calcined talc, 10-20 wt% of calcium carbonate, 2-8 wt% of glass powder, 2-8 wt% of zirconium silicate and 3-12 wt% of a phase splitting agent. And the phase splitting agent is one or a combination of P2O5, TiO2 and B2O3.
