The preparation method of the high-strength silicon carbide ceramic comprises the following steps: preparing main raw materials from the following components: 80-95 wt% of submicron alpha-silicon carbide micro powder, 1-7 wt% of aluminum oxide, 1-8 wt% of yttrium oxide, 1-3 wt% of polyethylene glycol and 1-2 wt% of polyvinyl alcohol; deionized water is added into the main raw materials for ball-milling dispersion, and water-based slurry is prepared; carrying out spray granulation on the water-based slurry to prepare ceramic granulation powder; and carrying out hot pressed sintering on the ceramic granulation powder to obtain the high-strength silicon carbide ceramic.
