The invention relates to a steel box tied arch bridge segmental structure and a construction method, and relates to the technical field of arch bridges, the segmental structure comprises a plurality of arch rib single bodies and a connecting mechanism, the connecting mechanism comprises two connecting rings which are connected with the two arch rib single bodies through connecting assemblies; and the plugging assembly is used for plugging the mounting space. The two arch rib single bodies are fixedly connected through the two connecting rings, meanwhile, mounting of the connecting assemblies is achieved through the mounting space, the mounting space is blocked through the blocking assemblies, and finally the two arch rib single bodies and the blocking assemblies are connected into a whole through welding, so that the displacement and difficulty during mounting of the two arch rib single bodies are reduced, and the mounting efficiency is improved. Therefore, the quality and the efficiency during arch bridge installation are improved.
