The invention provides a steel box girder overall launching device and a steel box girder overall launching transportation method. The steel box girder overall launching device comprises a water transportation mechanism, a parking platform, a launching transportation mechanism and a driving structure. Steel box girders which are welded into a whole are loaded on the water transportation mechanism, and the water transportation mechanism is movably arranged on a parking platform on a launching site of an inland river area; the launching transportation mechanism is movably arranged on a launching site of an inland river area, can move in the direction close to or away from the parking platform and is used for transporting the steel box girders transferred from the water transportation mechanism into water of a designated area; the driving structure is in transmission connection with the launching conveying mechanism and used for driving the launching conveying mechanism to move. According to the device and method, the steel box girder is manufactured into a whole, sealed forming is adopted for launching, ship floating transportation in the river channel is simulated, and the problem that the whole river channel in the large steel box girder is difficult to transport is solved.
