The invention provides a desilting device and method for an inspection well. The desilting device for the inspection well comprises a bottom frame and rolling wheels arranged on the bottom frame. The lifting unit is arranged on the bottom frame; the horizontal moving unit is arranged on the lifting unit, and the lifting unit drives the horizontal moving unit to move in the vertical direction; the sludge conveying unit comprises a sludge conveying pipe and a sludge discharging pipe, the top of the sludge conveying pipe is arranged on the horizontal moving unit and connected with the sludge discharging pipe, the horizontal moving unit drives the sludge conveying pipe to move in the horizontal direction, an auger is arranged in the sludge conveying pipe, and a spray head is further arranged at the bottom end of the sludge conveying pipe; the filtering unit is used for filtering the sewage in the inspection well and conveying the filtered water to the spray head at the bottom end of the sludge conveying pipe, so that the sludge in the inspection well is further flushed and cleaned in a circulating manner; the problems that according to an existing method for flushing through a high-pressure water gun in inspection well dredging, water resource consumption is large, much sewage is cleaned, efficiency is low, and manual cooperation is needed are solved.
