The invention relates to a transfer type parking garage which comprises at least two groups of multi-layer vehicle storage frames arranged in rows, a travelling crane conveying device arranged in the arrangement direction of the parking garage, a transfer parking platform arranged in the middle of the travelling crane conveying device, and entrance and exit conveying devices arranged on the two sides in front of the transfer parking platform. The travelling crane conveying device comprises a first push-pull frame; the transfer parking platform comprises a transfer frame; the inlet and outlet conveying device comprises a second push-pull frame. A second push-pull frame of the entrance and exit conveying device can be lifted and rotated and is aligned with a transfer frame of the transfer parking platform; and any one of the transfer parking tables is aligned with one of the first push-pull frames of the travelling crane conveying device after rotating. Transfer conveying of the roadway type garage can be achieved, so that organic coordination between a vehicle entrance and exit and multiple sets of roadway type garages is achieved, and operation is safe and reliable.
