According to the starch-based concrete admixture prepared by the invention, the starch is oxidized in an acidic environment and an alkaline environment respectively to obtain the oxidized modified starch, a reagent obtained after the two solutions are mixed is neutral, and the pH value of the solution does not need to be adjusted by adding an acid-base solution additionally; solid powder formed by dehydration contains oxidized modified starch and a small amount of sodium chloride, sulfate and other impurities, the carboxyl carrying amount of the oxidized modified starch is about 6.2%, the oxidized modified starch can play a role of alkaline water, and a small amount of sodium chloride and sulfate impurities play an early strength role in concrete, accelerate cement hydration and have a slurry extraction function. The cement paste of the concrete is fuller, and the workability is better.
