The invention belongs to the technical field of deceleration strips, and particularly relates to an automatic height adjusting deceleration strip which comprises a first groove body and a second groove body which are arranged on a roadbed, sequentially arranged in the advancing direction of a road and communicated through a channel, and the first groove body and the second groove body are provided with a first groove opening and a second groove opening in the position of the road surface. The width of the first notch is larger than that of the second notch, and the first notch and the second notch are each provided with a first deceleration strip and a second deceleration strip which are matched with the width of the first notch and the width of the second notch. The first deceleration strip and the second deceleration strip seal the groove body through the first transverse plate and the second transverse plate correspondingly, and linkage lifting of the first deceleration strip and the second deceleration strip can be achieved by introducing liquid into the first groove body, the second groove body and the channel. The warning effect can be flexibly changed according to vehicles with different vehicle speeds and vehicle weights, and the service life of the deceleration strip is prolonged.
