The embodiment of the invention provides a prefabricated steel column module, an assembly type steel structure, a prefabricated shear wall and a modular building. The prefabricated steel column module comprises a steel column body, a first steel column assembly and a second steel column assembly. The first end of the steel column body is provided with a first inserting groove in the axial direction, the outer side wall of the first steel column assembly is provided with a first protruding edge in a protruding mode, the other end of the first steel column assembly is provided with an inserting plate in the axial direction, the inserting plate is inserted into the first inserting groove, and the other end of the first steel column assembly is inserted into the steel column body and fixedly connected with the steel column body through the inserting plate. A second protruding edge is arranged on the inner side wall of the second steel column assembly in a protruding mode, and the second steel column assembly is fixedly connected to the second end of the steel column body. By the adoption of the scheme, the anti-drawing performance between the connecting positions of the upper-layer prefabricated steel column module and the lower-layer prefabricated steel column module is enhanced through the first protruding edges and the second protruding edges, the first steel column assembly and the second steel column assembly can be formed separately, welding difficulty can be reduced through operation from the two ends, and welding quality and welding efficiency can be improved; and automatic production can be realized.
