The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing first ceramic modified slurry; performing primary treatment on the foamed ceramic precursor through the first ceramic modified slurry to obtain a primary modified foamed ceramic precursor; preparing second ceramic modified slurry; performing secondary treatment on the primary modified foamed ceramic precursor through the second ceramic modified slurry to obtain a modified ceramic matrix; and drying and sintering the modified ceramic green body to obtain the foamed ceramic filter plate. The ceramic degree of the pore edges of the internal pores and the pore edges of the surface of the prepared foamed ceramic material is high, the internal strength and the surface strength of the material are high, the porosity of the internal pores is not reduced, and the aperture ratio of the pores is not reduced.
