The invention belongs to the technical field of ceramic microsphere production, and particularly relates to ceramic microspheres for grinding and a preparation method and device thereof. Comprising the following steps: taking yttrium-stabilized nano zirconium oxide as a raw material, adding 0.5-1.5% by mass of rare earth oxide and 1-3% by mass of magnesium oxide, putting into a ball mill for mixing, and then putting into a closed stirring granulator; spraying and adding an aqueous solution containing 1% of PVA into the powder by using an atomization spraying device, and granulating; the prepared spherical particles are subjected to sphericity degree and particle size sorting through a sorting machine; and sintering the sorted microsphere blanks in an air environment of 1500-1600 DEG C to obtain the ceramic microspheres for grinding. The preparation method is short in time consumption and high in production efficiency, and through the combined action of magnesium oxide and rare earth oxide, the interior of the ball blank is compact, and the strength is high.
