The invention relates to a super-long slow-release slump-retaining polycarboxylate superplasticizer and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of concrete admixtures, the super-long slow-release slump-retaining polycarboxylate superplasticizer comprises the following raw materials: a carboxylic acid monomer, a modified polyether monomer, an initiator, a reducing agent, a chain transfer agent, an oxidizing agent, a catalyst and deionized water; mixing and stirring a carboxylic acid monomer, a modified polyether monomer, a chain transfer agent and deionized water to obtain a first mixed solution; mixing and stirring an initiator and deionized water to obtain a second mixed solution; mixing and stirring a reducing agent, a catalyst and deionized water to obtain a third mixed solution; adding the first mixed solution and the second mixed solution into a reactor, stirring and mixing the first mixed solution and the second mixed solution, and standing for heat preservation to prepare a fourth mixed solution; heating the reactor, and dropwise adding the third mixed solution into the fourth mixed solution; through the interaction among the carboxylic acid monomer, the modified polyether monomer and the chain transfer agent, the concrete is soft in working state and good in workability.
