The invention discloses a steel bar connecting piece with an annular groove, a connecting structure and an application method. The connecting piece comprises a butt joint piece and a locking piece. One end of each butt joint piece is provided with a threaded part, and the outer side wall of the other end of each butt joint piece is provided with a protruding groove. The locking piece is arranged on the outer sides of the two butt joint pieces in a sleeving mode, and locking connection of the two butt joint pieces is achieved in a clamping mode. And the inner side of the locking piece is provided with a concave groove matched with the convex groove. The connecting structure comprises a component body, a steel bar is pre-buried and fixed in the component body, and a butt joint piece is connected with the end of the steel bar in the component body. According to the application method, the component body serves as a floor slab and/or a wallboard to be connected and assembled through the butt joint pieces and the locking pieces.
