The invention provides a bridge pier water flow impact prevention device which comprises protection plates clamped on the two sides of a bridge pier in an included angle posture, the ends, close to each other, of the two protection plates are connected through a flow guide plate, and the flow guide plate is made of an elastic material; the two protection plates are arranged on the ring sleeve, the middle portions of the protection plates are connected with the ring sleeve through hinges, and spring dampers are arranged between the protection plates and the ring sleeve. According to the water flow impact prevention device for the bridge pier, on one hand, by designing related vibration buffering and energy absorbing structures, impact energy applied during water flow slapping can be effectively absorbed, and the protection performance is improved; on the other hand, the height of the protection plate can be dynamically adjusted according to the water flow condition without any electric control equipment by designing the liftable protection plate structure and cooperating with the inverted hydrofoil and the reset spring, the protection plate is prevented from being soaked in water for a long time, and the service life of the protection plate and accessory structures of the protection plate is prolonged.
